{"id":2338,"date":"2024-11-21T10:12:59","date_gmt":"2024-11-21T10:12:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/insight.thomsonreuters.com\/mena\/legal\/?post_type=insight_resource&#038;p=2338"},"modified":"2024-11-26T10:10:55","modified_gmt":"2024-11-26T10:10:55","slug":"2024-legal-department-operations-index","status":"publish","type":"insight_resource","link":"https:\/\/insight.thomsonreuters.com\/mena\/legal\/resources\/resource\/2024-legal-department-operations-index","title":{"rendered":"2024 Legal Department Operations Index"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Legal department operations teams today are under increasing pressure \u2014 both from the general counsel and the broader business \u2014 to control costs, evaluate and potentially implement rapidly emerging technologies, and maintain and improve the operational state of their law departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Thomson Reuters Institute (TRI) surveyed seasoned legal department operations professionals this summer to ask about recent changes in their departments, trends influencing how they will operate in the future, the metrics used to track progress, and how they currently manage the changing legal tech landscape.
